Our Replacement Process

Step 1: Free In-home Consultation

Once you contact us, we will setup an in-home visit that is convenient for you (daytime or evening). We will listen attentively to your needs and then ask relevant questions to ensure we are providing you with the right products. We know your time is valuable so we will not waste it with a four hour, high-pressure sales pitch. Once we fully understand your needs, we will provide you with the options that fit you the best. After choosing your preferred product, we will take rough measurements and provide you with a quote.

Step 2: Agreement

Once you’ve decided to move forward, we will enter into a written agreement that will protect you as a consumer. We all have heard of horror stories involving bad contractors who leave a job incomplete or in disrepair, and a written contract helps protect you. The contract spells out clearly the details of the agreement and provides our contractor’s license number. Once you sign the agreement and make the deposit, we will schedule the critical measure.

Step 3: Critical Measurements

Within a few short days of signing the contract, we will have our lead installer come to your home to take critical measurements. This process takes anywhere from a half hour to an hour to complete, depending on the size of the job. Once we have the measurements, we’ll place the order for the windows or doors with the manufacturer. Depending on the type of package selected, your product will generally take two to five weeks to manufacture.

Step 4: Setup Installation Date

Once we determine the arrival date of the windows, or doors, we will setup the installation date with you and then give you a courtesy call just prior to the installation date to reconfirm our appointment. A whole house of windows can be installed within 2 to 5 days depending on the scope of work required. We will never leave your home unsecured or put plywood over openings if we need to come back the next day.

Step 5: Installation

It is always our preference to do most of the removal and installation of the new windows and doors from the outside of the home. This will minimize the disturbance to the interior of your home and reduce the risk of damaging your valuables. When we are inside your home, we will put down tarp to protect your flooring and continually vacuum debris as we go along. Our workers will do our work quickly, efficiently, and leave your home site clean at the end of each day. All of the old windows will be removed and disposed of by our professional crew. When the work is complete we will collect the remaining balance.
