Their staff, especially Jim Marowitz, are top notch. Very informative, upfront, and do not try to upsell you. When picking a contractor for a job it is hard to gauge honesty, but with Jim, he went out of his way to make sure you were happy. He told us what options were probably over the top and recommended what would work best, not what cost the most.

My experience with Lake Washington Windows and Doors was exemplary from our salesman Michael to the installation process. Our installers Ricky, Joel, and Emilio were extremely courteous and competent. The detail on the caulking and cleanup were standard setting. Our interaction with the office team was equally above par with rapid callbacks. I am not surprised by the performance of this company as I did thorough research before making my decision. The windows we selected were a brand that I had not heard of until now, Anlin. I was originally going to buy fiberglass windows but the more I learned about the Anlin vinyl windows the more I was impressed. Be sure to consider this manufacturer. Overall a great experience from start to finish.

Lake Washington Windows and Doors was outstanding in every way. Michael in sales was well informed without being high pressured. Our installers Ricky, Joel, and Emilio were communicative, competent, with a skill to work clean. The team put up plastic barriers floor to ceiling to minimize dust and debris. This attention to detail really impressed my wife. We were going to buy fiberglass windows but Michael suggested that we consider vinyl windows by Anlin. The more I researched Anlin the more I was impressed by their technology. I highly recommend you consider this manufacturer. Ricky, Emilio & Moises did a great job of replacing about a 1/2 dozen windows. They left my place like they found it: super tidy. The new windows really reduce the outside sound, keep the house cozy and are really easy to clean. The sales & project management folks (Ronnie & Jeff) were also great to work with: helped to make informed decisions and flexible with scheduling.

The whole process of getting the glass replaced in my windows went way easier than I had anticipated. Wish I had done this sooner. Everyone was very professional. Install took a couple hours for 6 windows, Ricky and Fatu were courteous and did a great job. Very happy with it all.

Over the last 3 days I had all my downstairs windows replaced in my 100 year old home by Johan, Noises and Ricardo (Ricky) from Lake Washington Windows and Doors. They even replaced some rotted window sills. They did a great job keeping the job site clean and were very considerate.I am so excited for this spring when I can finally open the back windows and get a cross-breeze. I really had a great experience from the Sales experience with Matt V. and even when Jeff came by to measure he said he had installed the windows upstairs with thr prior owners of the home! I rarely post online reviews because I read so many that are over-hyped or incentivized. Lake Washington Windows & Doors is the exception: Mine was truly a 5-star experience — no hype, not incentivized. The first LWWD team, Chris and David, removed a 1986 poorly installed (DYI) sliding patio door with seal failure and water damage, and carefully prepared the installation. However, they discovered extensive dry rot in the flooring where water had unknowingly leaked for 40 years, creating a hole into the crawl space. Perhaps another business might have proceeded and never mentioned it, but Chris ethically pointed out how serious the problem was, recommended several dry rot repair experts, and advised me to “do the right thing.” I did. Having lived in Seattle for years, I know how destructive water/rain can be. Zimmerman Restorations did a first-rate job of fixing the dry rot so that a second team from LWWD — Gustavo and Moises — could return to finish the installation of the Milgard sliding patio door. Every step of the install was done with care and obvious expertise. Gustavo explained what they did, and offered tips on maintaining the door as well. Both teams — Chris and David, Gustavo and Moises — were exceptionally kind, professional, and efficient in taking on what turned out to be a complicated project. I will highly recommend Lake Washington Windows & Doors to my neighbors and friends; future customers will be lucky to work with any of these fine expert LWWD installers. This is a very rare 5-star review from me, with every star well-earned by Lake Washington Windows & Doors.

The crew of Crisanto, Johan and Daniel were friendly, protected our home during installation, and did an amazing job. We already see a difference in how much our heat is running, and can't wait to enjoy our new patio doors this summer! They also helped us add more light to our dark main bedroom by taking out the old narrow window and putting in a new much larger window. They added new insulation and put up dry wall for us to finish later. They even brought the wood trim to us early in case we want to stain, paint, or otherwise treat the wood before they used it in the installation. Generally an amazing experience for what can be a super stressful time (especially in winter). Would definitely recommend them!

I worked with Dave, the sales consultant from Lake Washington Windows & Doors and had a great experience. He presented the Anlin windows clearly, and I was impressed by the narrow frames (much slimmer than typical vinyl windows & even some fiberglass windows) and the double lifetime warranty. Dave sent the quote quickly with several discounts, and when I noticed a few measurement discrepancies, he corrected them right away. He also offered an additional 3.5% discount for reviews and yard signs.After signing, I realized some windows might need tempered safety glass. Dave explained the code requirements clearly and updated the bathroom window to tempered at no extra cost. He also offered to temper the lower sash on the large windows if we chose a 50/50 split as indicated on the proposal (We opted to have the lower sash opening at 24" instead).One thing I learned while comparing multiple installers is that not everyone includes tempered glass where required, so it's important to double‑check both measurements and safety‑glass details in order to compare them "apples to apples". This window professional's video helped explain the tempered glass rules well: Overall, Dave was responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.

Matthew was the salesman from Washington Window and door. We were looking for a sliding door with an intergrated dog door. He did an outstanding job explaining and demonstrating the high quality windows without any pressure. His knowledge and confidence in his product was reassuring. Andy and Gustavo were our installers. They showed up on time and performed a flawless installation. They throughly cleaned up before leaving. This project exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to using them again to replace windows on the west facing part of our house.

Matthew worked with our schedule and was very informative about the product, process and timing! we ordered a sliding glass door with a built in dog door. we did get several quotes and the overall product, feel and lack of pressure sold us on LWW&D! the crew arrived right on time, right when they said they would (shout out to our 5 star installer, Andy and Gustavo!!! <3), very efficient, tidy, and fulfilled every expectation! We used LWW&D to replace a window into our garage with a custom person door. Everything from estimating the job (in person), to taking exhaustive/accurate measurements, to doing the install was professional, accurate, and timely. The installers (Crisanto, John, and Moises) did an amazingly good job on cutting out the old window, framing/installing the door, and detailing the finished look. They finished quicker than their estimate and cleaned up everything before they left. I would heartily recommend them and would hire them again.

Lake Washington Windows & Doors is the real deal when it comes to installing a custom door. They replaced a window with a people door into our garage. Everything from sending a person to evaluate and take measurements, to taking a second look at the job to get the details right, to the finished job was professional, accurate, and on time. The install team (Crisanto, John, and Moises)​ finished the job quicker than the estimate. They cleaned up after themselves and spent extratime detailing the outside frame so it fit in better. The door looks like it always belonged were they put it. Worth every penny, I highly recommend them, and would hire them again.

We used this company to install a new slider door with a doggy door insert. The time to wait for the door to be custom built took about 1.5 months but the installation was extremely quick. I appreciate their responsiveness to questions we had their professionalism when installing the door. It is absolutely perfect and we would highly recommend them.

We had three exterior doors installed, one which required changing the size of the frame (added a side panel) and a large window cut out and installed. I’d say that our job ended up having more complications than average, with multiple returns needed for adjustments and at one point an entire door replaced due to the first one being cut just wrong enough to cause issues (not their fault, manufacturers fault). Through it all, Lake Washington was fabulous. Communication was excellent and the crews that came out were so great that when our job was finally done and “our guy” left for the last time, my husband and I said that we’ll miss him. LWW&D see their projects through until the very end, and I have no question that they will come back promptly if any other issues come up in the future. From start to finish, excellent company to work with!
